Last Updated: 2 September 2026

Welcome to Scot Pooper Scoopers

Thank you for choosing Scot Pooper Scoopers. We are committed to providing you with reliable and efficient services while ensuring a clean and pleasant environment for your pets. These Terms and Conditions outline our policies and your responsibilities as a customer. By using our services, you agree to abide by these terms.

Section 1
Billing Policy

Prepaid Billing

All customers are required to prepay for services at the beginning of each month. This ensures that clients are billed for the services they will receive, helping us manage finances effectively and providing a reliable service.

Payment Method

A valid credit card must be kept on file. This allows for smooth and efficient billing, ensuring that payments are processed on time without the complications associated with cash or cheque payments.

Section 2
Service Suspension

If payment is not received by the first of the month, we will pause all services until the account is settled. This policy helps maintain the financial health of the business and ensures that services are provided to customers who are current on their payments.

Section 3
Initial Clean-Up Charges

For customers who sign up for services mid-month, the initial clean-up will be billed alongside the remaining services for that month. This means that new clients will receive a one-time charge for their first clean-up and any subsequent clean-ups needed until the end of that month.

Section 4
Invoice Management

Our billing system is designed to minimize the risk of unpaid invoices. By requiring prepayment, we avoid the challenges of collecting payments after services have been rendered. If any invoice fails, services will be paused until the outstanding balance is cleared.

Section 5
Customer Responsibility

Customers are responsible for ensuring that their payment information is up to date. This includes providing a valid credit card and notifying us of any changes to billing information.

Section 6
Communication

We will communicate any billing issues or service suspensions promptly to ensure customers are aware of their account status.

Section 7
Customer Support

If you have questions about billing or services, our customer support team is here to assist you. Please reach out to us for any clarifications or concerns.

Section 10
Communications & Data Consent

Service Communications

By signing up for our services, you consent to receiving service-related communications including appointment confirmations, reminders, en-route notifications, and service completion reports via SMS and/or email. These are necessary to deliver your service and are sent under contractual necessity. You may opt out at any time in your client portal preferences, though this may affect our ability to deliver the service effectively.

Marketing Communications

We will only send promotional or marketing messages (SMS, email, or WhatsApp) where you have given explicit consent to do so. You may withdraw consent at any time by: replying STOP to any SMS, clicking unsubscribe in any email, or updating your preferences in the client portal. Withdrawal of marketing consent does not affect service communications or your rights under the contract.

Your Data Rights

Under UK GDPR, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or port your personal data. You may also object to processing based on legitimate interests. For full details, please review our Privacy Policy at scotpooperscoopers.com/PrivacyPolicy or contact privacy@scotpooperscoopers.com.

Section 8
Service Area

Coverage Area

Scot Pooper Scoopers operates within designated service areas across Lanarkshire and surrounding regions (ML1–ML12, G71–G75, and selected Glasgow postcodes). We reserve the right to decline service requests from outside our service area.

Premium Areas

Clients in ML11 (Carluke/Carstairs) and ML12 (Lanark/Biggar) are subject to a premium area supplement of £3–£5 per service due to additional travel time and fuel costs. This will always be communicated clearly before service begins.

Out-of-Area Requests

If your postcode is outside our current service area, you may join our waitlist. We will contact you as we expand into new areas. No charges apply for waitlist registration.

Section 9
Cancellation & Rescheduling

Cancellation Notice

Clients must provide a minimum of 24 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule a scheduled appointment. Cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice may incur a £10 late cancellation fee.

Subscription Cancellation

You may cancel your recurring subscription at any time via your client portal or by contacting us directly. Services will continue until the end of the current billing period. No partial refunds are issued for mid-period cancellations.

Important Notice

By using Scot Pooper Scoopers' services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time, and any changes will be communicated to customers via email or through the client portal.
